Last sunday we made an autumnwalk in the nearby woods of Almere.Haven. It was cold but sunny, a perfect combination.
There are visible damages of fallen trees by previous storms.
But the fungi like to grow on fallen tree trunks.
These ones look almost like flowers.
Lots of fallen leaves on the road but no coloured trees. We had a strange autumn so far with high temperatures, so nature is a bit confused I suppose.

Reminds me very much of the trail I frequently walk down by the Potomac River where huge sycamore trees have fallen and lie helter skelter on the forest floor.

Ik geniet altijd erg van een herfstwandeling. Zoveel te zien.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt looks like a wonderful place to wander!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat place to walk.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful paths! It is a bit confused here too. I found a single bloom on one of my azalea bushes yesterday. It is supposed to only bloom in the spring.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA lovely place for a walk!
