A sign of the time. Many big trainstations here have a piano in the hall where everyone is free to show his skills.
Unfortunately no one was there when I made this photo at the Amstel station in Amsterdam but I have seen many people playing the piano, which sounds wonderful in such a great environment.

I enjoy restaurants and other venues that still employ jazz pianists to come and play their grand pianos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is a winderful idea.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa ik mag ook altijd graag even luisteren. Het galmt wel en of het nou zuiver is of niet, het blijft toch leuk.

A splendid idea!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth of my grandkids would play that piano if they were there!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBy the way, "gator" is a shortened version of "alligator". Vile creatures that inhabit most all of Florida.
How do they keep children from banging on it, I wonder. It's a nice idea.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA wonderful idea and a great way to share music with others just passing through the station.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's cool.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt would echo quite well in there. Our city hall has a grand piano for anyone to come and play on.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSomething fun to do while waiting around!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou've got to give people credit when they will play in public.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThere might be endless playing of chopsticks given people's piano abilities.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPerfect spot for it Marianne, would be wonderful for someone to play in the peak times at the station, tres entertaining 😊
