Outside it is cold and grey but my windowsill is blooming with a red azalea, blue hyacinth bulbs and a white orchid.
I got the orchid of my daughter full of flowers last november that fell off after some time. But to my surprise it started blooming again a few weeks ago. The hyacinth I bought at the market and smells delicious.
The azalea was molested last week during the night by cat Sofietje who had bitten off various branches. You can see one dangling in front.
Ha...bad kitty! How nice to have such colorful flowers. That would brighten any day. I also like the smell if hyacinths.

Don't they look so innocent - even when you happen upon them in the act. I was just talking to a friend the other day about having hyacinths in the house for the smell. It brings Spring in early.
