Berenice Abbott was an American photographer born in 1898 in Springfield and died in 1991. She was known of her black and white photos of New York in the thirties.

I had never herd of Berenice Abbott until I read your post today. I did a internet search and found out that she had published a number of books. Now am really interested. Thank you for sharing.
