Memory

We had a walk in Memory Lane yesterday and passed the old neighbourhood in Amsterdam where we lived for seven years and  got our two children.  Our apartment was on the third floor in this building in a very busy and noisy street with lots of traffic and  streetcars with a stop in front of the house. When you raise your eyes from the yellow jacket right up to three that's the one we lived in.

  3. I'm supposing the Fasty Burgers wasn't there when you lived there. Was it some other shop before?

  6. Many decades ago I lived on the second floor of an old building right in the center of town and loved it. 'Course it was a much smaller town than yours.

  8. I hope you live in a quieter place now. I often wonder what it would be like bringing up kids in an apartment.

  9. I think I might have enjoyed living in the middle of the city when I was younger, but now I prefer to be in a house in a quieter place. I'm sure just like you do.
