An oldie of 2013, a skywatch in Groningen. Can't remember why the tower was there. A remain of a former factory I suppose. Linking to "Skywatch Friday"
I very nice sky in this photo. There is a similar tower standing in northern Arizona. I see it when I drive up north to visit my sister. I think is was the remains of some type of mining effort.
Our paper mill has a tall tower that is now decommissioned, but still stands with red and white strips from top to bottom. It was part of a paper process that has been discontinued. When we first moved to town you could smell it very strongly on our way to the marina at the lake. - Margy
It would have to be.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely sky. The photo was worth save for all these years.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenDe toren staat er verlaten bij, zo te zien heeft er inderdaad meer bij gestaan.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMooie dag was het toen!
Lovely shot!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice sky and the tower looks good too. I wonder why they left it standing.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe ugly old chimney does help to show off the sky.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt looks a little lonely standing there all by itself Marianne 😊
