Festive season

Although Saint Nicolas has not gone yet, the shoppingmalls are already decorated with Christmas trees. I remember this was not done a few years ago. Until the Saint Nicolas presents evening December 5th had taken place, it was a kind of "forbidden" to put Christmas decorations in the shops. But times are changing and many people celebrate Christmas  with presents nowadays instead of Saint Nicolas (or even both) so commerce has taken over and from the end of November the decorations appear in the malls.
