Horse around

At the city estate "the Kemphaan" in Almere last Sunday was a "Horse & Outdoor" event. Several horses were presented like this Belgian workinghorse.

They were with three and were pulling a so called "flying carpet", a piece of leather on which the man is standing. Children could sit on it and would jump up and down I suppose when the horses took some speed.  We waited for ages in a burning sun, to watch it and have some pictures, but decided to leave before we would melt down.

This is a Lipizzan horse from the Spanish Riding School  of Vienna.

This horse is used for training, he could do some dancing like the piaffe. I don't know much about horses but I paid attentention to the speaker, so I remember what she said.

We still have some very nice summer weather here which amazes everybody, keep our fingers crossed.
