Yesterday several boats had come together in the harbour and were sailing out to the Gooilake to have a race.
A last cup of coffee and ready to go.
And here they are sailing on the lake. Unfortunately there were hardly any winds, so not much movements to see.
In the evening all the restaurants had set up a tasting along the harbour, we had a Japanese taste, a Greek one and one of a good restaurant, yummie.
And here the harbour at sunset.
What a lovely day Marianne - I would love this kind of day to partake in the "Botter-race", be part of the crowd, cheering a team on, eating and enjoying a beautiful sunset. Shame the winds did not cooperate, however, it was still a fun time, eh.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou seem to be enjoying a number of festivals this summer! Great looking boats!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful series of shots Marianne, the Harbour Festival would be such fun..love the picture of the boats out to sea waiting for a breeze :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDat ziet er leuk uit. Mooie foto ook met alle zeilen op het water.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenToo bad that the winds were lacking for good sailing... One can tell from the sunset picture that it was absolutely calm.
But anyway, a very nice festival for lots of people to come out and mingle while enjoying great food.
Hugs and happy weekend.
Mariette
