An advertisement for a theater play about Anne Frank in Amsterdam. A special theater was built for the performance which also includes music and songs. There were some serious debates and protests in society about to turn the "The Diary of Anne Frank" into a "Musical" before, but it has nevertheless become succesful. I have not been there and I will not be going. You can read their website here.

I did love the book Marianne, but must admit I'm not a fan of musicals, too much singing :) :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am sure that many folks feel it is nothing to sing about.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGostei muito do livro "O Diário de Anne Frank".
BeantwoordenVerwijderenUm abraço e boa semana.
Really? A Musical? I can't even conceive of the idea.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI generally find musicals to be the equivalent to fingernails scratching on a blackboard, so I'd skip it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEffective reminder of dark days of history.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is a lovely poster, but such a sad story. Not sure I would go to the play if I was in town.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can't imagine it as a musical!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've read parts of the play many times. It was on our gr. 7 language arts curriculum.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've read the book, but don't think it's a good story to adapt to a musical. I'm not a fan of musicals, but I associate musicals to fun things, not such a tragic story as Anne Frank's.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice find.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFrankly My Dear
It is so sad fate, that I can not imagine the musicals. It must have been difficult to implement.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery interesting.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think that it is very appropriate to honor her life in music.
