This strange winter is already going over in springtime. These are blooming snowdrops without snow at the cemetery in Almere Haven. They are often seen in the snow in January or February.
And the winter crocuses. But first we have to cope with another storm today.
Strange indeed. The mild weather has tricked the trees and plants in to budding a head of time.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMild weather doing wonders everywhere. Warm greetings!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm sure you wish it was Spring already. Keep safe in the storm Marianne.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the first snowdrops Marianne.. Swap you your storm for our 43C :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love seeing the first signs that Spring is coming. We have high winds forecasted for today.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHello, lovely signs of spring. Just beautiful! Happy Monday, have a great new week ahead!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's not true… you have already spring. These lovely flowers are always nice to see after snowy winter.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI noticed my first wildflowers while out on my most recent hike. Tried to get a picture but they wouldn't hold still. Wind.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhatever the weather plants doing their best.....
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGood luck with the storm!
Ruby
They certainly are a lovely sight.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou've had a very surprising winter or should I say a very surprising no winter.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am not a very good winter person so spring flowers are very welcome sights. Love crocus bulbs!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHet lijkt wel herfst! Behalve de bloemetjes dan ;)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love seeing the flowers but I do worry about what this crazy weather will bring this coming summer!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh, gosh!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt looks like an early spring with no snow to cool the ground. I love the spring flowers!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery pretty! My azaleas are confused too. They started blooming a few weeks ago and now this week they are getting frozen!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo pretty
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat looks incredible and you are lucky in a way for not having had frost and real winter.
Wednesday and Saturday night we will get -4ÂșC.
Sending you hugs and hope that storm was not too bad!
Mariette
Really nice to see Mother Spring at work, but she wont be here for a long time yet. I have also seen them popping out in our March snows.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow, that is early AND so nice.
