We have blue skies for weeks now with so now and than a few white clouds passing by. The lack of rain is becoming a problem here. Nature dries, farmers are complaining about the state of their products and the cows have no fresh grass anymore. Our dikes have to be checked if they are still strong enough to protect us against the seawater. After all 26% of our country is below sea level. We hope for the best and enjoy the sunshine in the meantime.

It's not good for the farmers and the animals. On our side of the world we're having a lot of rain. Hope it rains there soon too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHave a good weekend Marianne.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI hope it rains a bit soon Marianne, meanwhile scenes like this are wonderful to see ✨
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDrought has been a problem the last few years in so many places. I've been in California the last week and the usually lush green around here is a little brown around the edges. It's quite obvious.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNicely composed scene, I like those windmills. Hope you get some rain, we had a few hours of rain last night.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenExcellent shot. The lack of rain is a problem in these parts at present too.

prettige dag
We are also very dry but then we only get 14 in of precipitation a year so we have developed plants and techniques which need very little moisture.
