I hadn’t heard of this sculptor before so I had to look her up. I was surprised to read she had married an American and moved to the U.S. She has done some fascinating pieces and I really like these.
I have seen two of Louise Bourgeois spiders as well - one was at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and other was at a gallery here in Somerset - I am now wondering how many spiders she actually made.
