Well I have been on the ice at last, not on skates, I don't have them anyway, but at the beach in Almere Haven
It was the last day, today temperatures have raised again and the snow and ice are melting. It was a short pause of the miserable Covid thoughts and rules, everyone enjoyed to be outside in the crisping cold and have some fun.
A perfect distraction from Covid-19.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenQue maravilha patinar no gelo.

I too would stay on the bench. The sunshine makes it inviting to be outside though. We had four inches of snow overnight in North Texas...and extremely low temps 6 degrees F (-14. C).
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI would be on the beach too but it would be fun to see all those people enjoying themselves.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour photos really get the fun these people are having.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's nice seeing people enjoying themselves.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe weather has made a welcome change to the usual Covid lifestyle. You must have had lower temperatures than we had to create ice like that. Great fun as long as you can stay upright.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPeople made the most of the ice while they had it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can't skate, but I routinely walk on the ice of the Canal here.
That must be a good feeling to get out and have some fun. We have been lucky to have got the virus under control. We still have hygiene rules and sign in rules when we visit a business/cafe.The vaccine has only just arrived in Australia. Wear a bit behind other countries.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat does look like fun Marianne, as you say good to get out and not think about Covid for a while 💙
