Today something completely different. Yesterday was a very dark and rainy day and I decided finally to start making a photobook of our holiday in Norway last July. I had to make a choice from 600 photos of my own and the same amount of hubby. I travelled the whole day with my computer through Norway again and saw some pretty photos I had almost forgotten. My eyes were square in the end of the day! I haven't started the book yet but made at least a choice from the hundreds of photos. I think this photo in the open-air museum in Lillehammer will do for the Friday Fences theme.
Mooie plek. Leuke foto voor op een grijze dag.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love rural scenes. Thanks for this glimpse of the countryside!

To respond to your comment on my blog today: It is currently 6 degrees F with a wind chill temperature of -12 degrees F; not the Polar Vortex but it is still uncomfortable (7 am CST). My Friday Fences is not as appealing as the one you have posted!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a lovely photo and to think about you going through 600 photos to decide what you would use for your album - why, that would be most difficult, but I would definitely use the photo above for sure. Have a wonderful day.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove this shot...it takes you back a century!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWat een grappig varken, zo half/half.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenthis fence made me smile Marianne.. or it could it could have been the sow having her meal :) Good luck with the photo book, that's a lot of pics to sort through!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a big porker. Have fun wading through 600 photos. Square eyes...funny.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat photo!

It is a great photo...we always raised 4 hogs per year to butcher. I remember feeding them...
BeantwoordenVerwijderenShe is one gigiantic hog and hungry!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhen I looked at this photo I thought that can't be Holland. Digital is nice but it allows us to take too many photos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh, I know exactly how your eyes feel, I had the very same from staring at all those slides, scanning them, deciphering the date that was written on their frames and typing that in as caption. It was rewarding for getting them all done but I had to focus my eyes for days... Now I have been putting them into files per country, per year so again I got square eyes!
But the end result for today's fences post is excellent. Just lovely and it tells a full story!
Happy weekend and rest your eyes...
Mariette
Good morning square eyes.Perfect picture.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDo you do the photo book yourself from an online source? I have not done one yet.
Yes I do indeed with Blurb BookSmart, have done a few before and I like the results.
